Become a Certified Fire Door Inspector
DoorCheck Competency, CPD Certified,
Fire Door Inspection Training Course
This training is covered in a one day course and provides an overview and understanding of fire doors and their components, including inspection, certification, regulations and maintenance. On completion of the course, a certificate of competency and a fire door inspection manual will be issued. This course will allow you to add yourself to the NAFDI (National Association of Fire Door Inspectors) directory which will assist with job leads.
Training courses are held at our London training centre but can be arranged at your own premises depending on the number of people attending.
DoorCheck Advanced, CPD Certified,
Fire Door Inspection Training Course
We also offer an advanced fire door inspection training course where on completion, as an addition to the competency course, you can offer NAFDI (National Association of Fire Door Inspectors) certification for the reports you are carrying out.
As an advanced certificated inspector, you will be able to work independently and confidently in the industry carrying out detailed fire door inspection reports. This is an essential part of any fire risk assessment required by law to be done by a building’s responsible person or agent. Once you have qualified as an advanced fire door inspector, you will be able to benefit from:
- Job leads through the NAFDI directory
- Issuing industry recognised NAFDI inspection certificates
- Continued support from our industry professionals
The advanced fire door inspection course will consist of the one day practical based session at our London office, followed by an audit of a sample report you send over. This will ensure you are not only understanding how to complete a fire door inspection report successfully but recording it in a professional and thorough way also. Again, like the competency course, this can be arranged at your own premises subject to attendee numbers.
